The Maranta Leuconeura 'Green Prayer Plant', which is also known as the prayer plant, is a fun and beautifully striking plant to own. It gets its nickname the "prayer plant" from the movement the leaves have. During the day the leaves lay flat but during the evening and night the leaves fold up like praying hands.
