Ethiopia | Gedeb Gotiti
Gedeb Gotiti is a type of coffee produced by smallholder farmers in the Gedeo region, grown on steep mountain slopes at approximately 1,990 meters above sea level under the shade of Cordia Africana, Acacia, and Ensete trees. The coffee cherries are picked when they are ripe, separated before pulping, and allowed to ferment naturally for 28 hours. The coffee is then washed, sun-dried for about 18 days, and stored in a warehouse until transported to Addis Ababa.
